AI, and the ability to use it to create new marketing opportunities is one of the most important factors in hiring new candidates. Workers who report using generative AI tools are on average 33 % more productive in each hour they use them.
More importantly, AI provides marketing departments an entirely new category to create value for their clients and leads: apps.
Apps just like Can They AI, which allows hiring managers and recruiters to analyze their lead's AI readiness. Try it out now or learn more about it’s details and development below.

The Process

I began with a detailed prompt in Base44, which I devised after hearing day one of the AI advantage summit. I simply listed the aspects of the app, how I wanted it to behave, and voila.
But that doesn’t look quite right. I kept prompting to make the page brand accurate and include a link to my portfolio and contact information at the footer of the app.

Base 44 only allows certain actions on it’s free plan. This is okay, because I won’t be charging or using the app in a highly professional manner. But what about that ugly URL?
Can we make it simple for a hiring manager to share in a couple of words? To do so, I registered a new GoDaddy url and redirected users to the app.

I created this page in Figma like all of my other website pages (because you need to know how to complete a task in full to be prepared to fix AI issues if they arise) and include the methods by which I created this page and the app.
I added a new page to my Wix Studio website, where direct users of my portfolio can access the app. Lastly, I connected a banner on my home page to attract new visitors to the tool without getting in the way of the portfolio itself.
Lastly, I needed to ensure data and privacy are respected within the application. To do so, I simply directed Base44 to only track the sender’s email and acceptance to the terms and conditions of the application which now presents itself as the user enters the website.
Those using AI should consult closely with leadership or a legal department in order to implement new innovative offerings while remaining consistent with their organization’s policies and practices.
